Amid speculations that she and Piolo Pascual  have broken up, KC Concepcion finally set the record straight and said that she  and her boyfriend of ten months are still together.

“Once and for all po, gusto kong malaman ninyong lahat na gaya po ng una na ring sinabi ni PJ, hindi po kami hiwalay ni Piolo Pascual,” KC said in a recorded voice interview in ‘The Buzz’ on Sunday, August 28.

KC is aware that her relationship with Piolo has been the talk of the town for a  long time.  The young actress explained that she is not avoiding the issue and just happened to be sick when speculations about the breakup came out.

“One week na po akong may sakit, hindi po ako umiiwas sa issue. Nagkataon lang po na nung pumutok yung issue ay may sakit na po talaga ako,” KC added.

But even if they’re still together, KC admitted that, just like any couple, she and Piolo are  having problems. Their stature in showbiz just magnifies issues about them.

“At katulad po ng normal na relationship, siguro po ng relasyon sa pagitan ng kahit na sinong tao, ay dumadaan din po kami ni PJ sa ilang mga problema and nagkataon lang po na nasa showbiz po kami,” KC said.

She added that they are going through some problems which they themselves can talk about and solve. She plans to talk to Piolo about it once he returns from his Asian tour.

“At mag-uusap din po kami ulit pag-uwi nya sa Asian tour nya. So, inuulit ko po na okay po kami ni PJ. Hindi po kami hiwalay,” KC said.

Since the most-anticipated Star Magic Ball is  set next week (Sept. 3),  many are wondering if Piolo and KC will be there as  each other’s date.  They went to the ball together last year  although they were not yet a couple at that time.

KC confirmed that she will go  to the Star Magic Ball if she feels better.  She added that Piolo  already planned  to invite KC to the event  months ago.
“At pag ok na po yung pakiramdam ko, kami pa rin po ang magkasama sa Star Magic Ball next week. Nung May pa lang po ay nireserve na nya ko bilang guest niya so sana po matigil na po muna yung issue tungkol sa amin ngayon,” KC said.

KC on Sharon’s statement

KC also reacted to her mom, Sharon Cuneta’s meaningful statement in “TV Patrol” last week.

“Uulitin ko sinabi ng Daddy (the late mayor Pablo Cuneta) ko noon, ‘Kahit Metro Aide ang maging asawa niya, basta siya ‘yung mahal na mahal, ‘yung alagang-alaga,’” Sharon said in an interview with ‘TV Patrol.’

KC said that she understands her mother’s care and concern for her. She also added that  Sharon just wants her to be happy. Thus, the words of advice.

“At I am sure na kahit na sinong mommy or anak eh talagang maiintindihan naman na lahat ng sinabi nya o ginagawa nya eh dahil mahal nya ko at anak nya ko kaya gusto nya lang masigurong masaya ako,” KC said.

KC also clarified the issue that she and her mom are having  a misunderstanding.

“Meron din pong issue na lumabas na meron din po kaming misunderstanding or tampuhan mag-ina and ina-assure ko po kayo na okay na okay po kami ni mama,” she said.

KC even added that she  granted her mom’s request for her to attend the cast party of ‘Pinoy Biggest Loser’ and bring dessert as well.

“So, okay na okay po kami at siguro po concerned lang po sya at again in any relationship po, mas hindi normal pag walang pinagdadaanan o pag hindi nagkakaproblema,” KC said.

Despite all the  problems and issues their relationship is going through, KC remains positive and says she and Piolo can learn from their experiences and solve the problems by themselves.

“Mas maganda na rin po siguro kung meron tayong bagong mga natututunan para mas mapabuti ang relasyon. Susubukan po talaga namin na ayusin ito, pag-uusapan at maayos naman po ito,” KC said.
