| BRGY.30 Residents Availed ICMPI’s Open Air Clinic |

Sixty patients from Brgy. 30 in Bacolod City were given free medical check up and medicines during a two-hour open air clinic sponsored by the International Care Ministry of the Philippines, Inc. (ICMPI) . Held at the sanctuary of the Intercontinent Full Gospel Ministries, thirty mothers belonging to the “poorest of the poor” availed free medicines and received lectures conducted by the staff of ICMPI on healthcare and family planning.
Composed of 70% squatters, Barangay 30 is also known as “Maisan Country” and has almost 40% of the population who depend their livelihood on selling boiled corn or mais. According to Brgy. Captain Elvira Arcobillas, as of year 2007 its population reached 4,674. The ICMPI is a Christian licensed NGO whose mission and goal is to uplift the living condition and to strengthen the spiritual life of our less fortunate brethren through Medical, Feeding, Livelihood, Spiritual Empowerment and Pre-school Programs.
